The new owners at Blasters recently treated five underprivileged kids. They were able to enjoy meals, play in the jungle gym, putt-putt, and arcade games for free.
These kids came to Mossel Bay to see the ocean for the very first time. They received sponsorship from many members of the Mossel Bay community. Some gave money for petrol and tyres, some gave free accomodation, and there were even sponsors for new clothes and food for the children.
They traveled for 14 hours from Klerksdorp after accidentaly taking a wrong turn that caused a two hour detour. The kids were overwhelmed by the sight of the ocean and the friendliness of the members of the Mossel Bay community. They enjoyed every moment of their week in Mossel Bay. After visiting the beach early every morning, they would come to play at Blasters.
The owners say that is was a huge blessing for them to be able to see the kids enjoy themselves so much.
